u.tv/newsroom/indepth.asp?pt=n&id=35773there was some rumor going around that Bono was going to buy the historic house that is featured in a W B Yates poem. However, according to reports, Bono looked at the house several times, but it was sold to an unnamed Irish couple.

I found this on www.u2log.com... It's an interview with Robbie Williams and the difference between his fans and U2 fans....it's actually quite funny. “I thought I’m gonna pick one tonight that’s good looking, because quite frankly a lot of them have been like… mercy kisses. Is that bad? It’s the truth. She gets up on stage… I’ve seen Bono do it, so I’m thinking I’m going to have a roll around like Bono does. And with Bono they are like very respectful and they just lie next to him and listen to him, but with me she put her hands down me pants last night, she put a tongue down me mouth, she was trying to rip me vest off and I’m singing Come Undone, really trying to maintain the fact that these people think that I’m a bit cool and that and this girl’s… I’m not in control of, and I actually at one point she was locked like a vise grip, writhing on me. And I’m thinking, this has gone too far now, so I tried to pull her off and sit next to her, a la Bono, and then she straddles the top of me and starts grinding. Now normally this wouldn’t be a problem… but there’s 60,000 other people there and so I tried to grab her hair to make it look like I’m doing a sexy grab her hair bit, but actually what I was doing is trying to pull her off me!”I actually adore Robbie in a "guilty pleasure brit pop way." He wants to be taken seriously as an "artist" and not as some pop star....that song Come Undone that he mentions is actually a very matter of fact song. It's basically an apology for being a popstar. So it is kinda funny that while he's trying to sing it, he's got a girl grinding him.

...you buy articles of clothing that are similiar to what the band wears
...you have almost every album, single, bootleg and do a daily search for something you may not have yet.
...you tell everyone to have a nice day just so they say "you too"
...you have a U2 related email address...as do most of your online contacts.

I always think those lists are completely subjective... and usually focused on who is "in" at the moment. But it's nice to see people say nice things about the B-Man.

www.atu2.com/news/article.src?ID=3088Here is a bit from Bono on the Peter on the Wolf Project. Peter and the Wolf is a lesson in how to teach. This is a new version of the Prokoviev classic by two of my favourite people and musicians, Gavin Friday and Maurice Seezer, who were so ready to look after my father in his losing fight with cancer. These angels asked me to illustrate the book that accompanies the music.Bono also talks about his first taste of creating music with his Grandmother's old piano. Can I just say, that I wish I could write like that
